Our story

We code and deliver logistics software that has been specifically designed to meet your needs.

Founded in 1997 in Downham Market, Norfolk, Catalina Software has grown to be a specialist in logistics software. With more than 20 years of experience, our software, Freedom®, is recognised as the UK’s leading logistics software. We offer complete and cost-effective solutions for courier, transport, executive car and chauffeur companies that think globally and act locally.

Customers can access Freedom®  from a desktop, tablet or mobile device. Freedom® has 30+ booking interfaces with the devleopment of technoogy interface partners, plus a standard published interface, allowing our customers to receive and send bookings anywhere in the world through an integrated network of APIs (Application Programming Interface).

Freedom® enables customers to streamline their processes and manage the full life-cycle for client delivery on a global basis. Our unique products and solutions are developed in-house by our dedicated team of software developers, who have expert knowledge, and many years of experience within the industry.

Graeme Whiting

Managing Director

Graeme has over 29 years of experience in the logistics software industry, having worked as a Senior IT Manger at Hays Logistics where he worked on contracts such as Marks & Spencer, Philips Electronics and Hays Express/DX. 

Richard Hardy

Head of Product

Richard has over 10 years’ experience of software engineering and holds a BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering and great expertise in the software itself. Richard is responsible for the ongoing development of new and existing products.
