We code and deliver logistics software that has been specifically designed to meet your needs.

Founded in 1997, Catalina Software has grown to be a specialist in logistics software. Located in Downham Market, Norfolk, half-way between the research and technology hubs of Cambridge and Norwich, Catalina is strategically positioned in the heart of Silicon Fen. With more than 20 years of experience, our software, Freedom®, is recognised as the UK’s leading logistics software. We offer complete and cost-effective solutions for courier, transport, executive car and chauffeur companies that think globally and act locally.

Customers can access Freedom®  from a desktop, tablet or mobile device. Freedom® has 30+ booking interfaces with the development of technology interface partners, plus a standard published interface, allowing customers to receive and send bookings anywhere in the world, through an integrated network of API's (Application Programming Interface).

Freedom® enables customers to streamline their processes and manage the full product life-cycle for client delivery globally. Our unique software products and solutions are developed in-house by our dedicated team of developers, who have expert knowledge, and many years of experience within the industry.

Graeme Whiting

Managing Director

Graeme has 30 years experience in the logistics software industry, and founded Catalina Software. Prior to starting Catalina, Graeme worked as a Senior IT Manager at Hays Logistics on contracts for Marks & Spencer, Philips Electronics and Hays Express/DX. 

Richard Hardy

Senior Technical Consultant

Richard has 10 years experience in software engineering at Catalina Software, and holds a BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering. Having worked alongside Managing Director, Graeme Whiting, for a number of years, Richard knows the Freedom software inside out, and is now responsible for the ongoing development of new and existing Freedom products.

Christine Hartshorne

Business Dev & Marketing Manager

Christine has over 15 years experience in Marketing and Communications. Having worked with both large and small Science, Technology and Engineering companies for the majority of her career, Christine leads the external communications for the business. Christine is a Chartered Marketer and Accredited PR Practitioner.

Rebecca Wells

Development Manager

Rebecca joined Catalina Software in 2016 and has 10 years experience working in the software development industry. Having worked as part of various teams in the past, Rebecca has learnt what works well in a successful development team. Rebecca is now responsible for leading the team of software developers and ensuring all development is delivered on time and to the highest quality.

Martin Newman

Service Delivery Manager

Martin has spent over 10 years in Operations and Service Delivery, and has a wealth of project management and support experience. Having worked in IT Service Delivery and IT infrastructure for most of his career, Martin's role is to grow and develop the Service Delivery team, providing support, and managing installs and upgrades.

James Mould

Project Manager

James has 10 years experience in the Information Technology and Services industry. With demonstrated skills in IT service management, leadership, resource, budget management, risk mitigation and project planning, James’ role is to spearhead both customer and internal projects, and to successfully drive forward change management and adoption.

Karen Garrod

Service Delivery Supervisor

Karen joined the Catalina team in 2014 as a Project Co-ordinator and quickly found her feet to become a key member of the Management and Service Delivery team, liaising between customers, Development, and Service Delivery teams. Previous to joining Catalina, Karen has 6 years experience working in Customer Service and Administration.
